Never compromise on safety

HAKI Safety

Sustainability

Safe workplaces are at the heart of all of HAKI Safety’s activities, and the Group’s solutions to create safe working conditions are the result of decades of experience and knowledge.

The Group contributes to the circular economy in that its products have long lives and are easy to recycle. New products are also compatible with older ones to minimise waste. Efficient production methods such as robotic welding make it possible to save energy, reduce waste and ensure a safer working environment. The safety aspect applies not only to the products and solutions that the Group offers its customers, but also to the internal culture of HAKI Safety. Moreover, the Group strives to be a model of ethics in its industry.

Since 2025, the Group has been working towards four sustainability goals in the areas of environment, social responsibility and governance.

Focus area: Environmental responsibility
HAKI Safety focuses its efforts on the areas where the Group operates and can make the greatest difference. That includes minimising environmental impact through reduced emissions and waste, optimised transportation, increased recycling and sustainable procurement.

  • Climate target

HAKI Safety's taret is to reduce direct and indirect carbon emissions (scope 1 and 2) by 50 percent by the end of 2035, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050, together with net-zero emissions by 2050 along the value chain (scope 3).

Focus area: Social responsibility
HAKI Safety aims to provide a safe and secure work environment where people are not subject to unnecessary risks that affect their physical or mental health. The Group works towards an inclusive culture, where all employees are treated fairly and with respect, can build a professional career, are seen and heard, and have the opportunity to thrive and grow.

  • Health & Safety target

The Group has made a commitment to zero Total Recordable Injury Frequency (TRIF) by 2031. HAKI Safety shall give employees appropriate training and instructions for safe work. All employees must, at the same time, follow safety instructions and engage in safety improvement activities, where reporting on incidents and risks is an important part.

TRIF is reported in the Group's quarterly reports from the third quarter of 2025.

  • Employee satisfaction target

The Group actively works in key areas, such as safety, engagement, and inclusion, all of which are important for well-being in the workplace. HAKI Safety commits to achieve an employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) of 35 by 2027.

The Group’s employee survey is part of the global HR process, but participation is voluntary. For 2024, the response rate was 70 percent, and the results showed an eNPS (employee Net Promoter Score) of 26.

Focus area: Governance
HAKI Safety strives to be a model of ethics and equality in its industry, and also strives to promote this in its value chain. The Group promotes the values of fair competition and is actively engaged in combating all forms of bribery and corruption within its own organisation and value chain.

  • Code of Conduct target

HAKI Safety’s target is that the largest suppliers are to have signed the HAKI Safety Code of Conduct or an equivalent standard by 2027.

The 20 largest suppliers in terms of purchasing value account for almost 50 percent of HAKI Safety’s yearly spend. By the end of 2024, 70 percent of these suppliers had signed the HAKI Safety Code of Conduct or an equivalent standard.
